Early Morning Walk in the Woods
Spring is my favorite time to walk in the woods. The forest is coming to life after a long cold winter and is filled with amazing colors and textures .
Isn't it amazing how green the fern is that has been hiding under a meter of snow for 5 months . Ferns, have so much to teach me I only hope I will be a good student.

Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing! I like to be outdoors in spring either.

Beautiful photos!
Growing up in a desert region, my Mom always seemed to be trying to grow ferns indoors. I remember them always on the brink of death, shedding dried up leaves and requiring lots of attention. Even so, my Mom perservered. Imagine my surprise when I moved to the Oregon coast and found ferns almost as tall as I was growing all throughout the woods---no spray bottles, no pampering... I was amazed.

Thank you for the beautiful photos Margie! I wish that I could walk in a place like this in the morning, it must be so relaxing. I love nature so much. I miss my childhood in Cuba when we went to the river on the weekends to swim and have fun, nature over there is so amazing all year long. But I am glad that we have out beautiful garden at home :)
