Margie, these art pieces and photographs are beautiful. My favorite is the second one, which reminds me of the circle of life. I really love how you incorporate nature into all of your artwork.

I L O V E your pods and use of wood. (well I love all of what you make actually...) but somehow the wood and pods really resonate. It's so fun to see your work expand and change.

I'm loving this new twist... although it's been emerging for some time. Somehow the lightness of the wood and the open pods speak of spring. I'm loving them! No Robins here, yet. We think we heard one in the distance at dusk, though. We're not really into spring until April around here.

those sound like nice ideas :) i have another quote from Chief Seattle to share with you, it's on my favourite t-shirt with all kinds of animals: "What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts soon happens to man."

yes! I have these wood discs that I've been wanting to turn into earrings, and I keep thinking "gosh, it would be great to have resurrection fern's crocheting over these." and here you are crocheting over wood discs.

So appealing. Your acorn necklace inspired me to learn to crochet again, but I've not progressed to lacy...yet! Beautiful.
