I wasn't able to make it to Providence, Rhode Island for the Craftland Show curated by Faythe Levine but am really happy to announce that two dear blog friends, Melissa and Pat both saw the show and took some great photographs. Melissa went on the first day and allowed me to show some of her photographs and Pat went for the opening last Thursday and chatted with Faythe and Merrilee and posted a wonderful review of the show on her blog. Many of the stones and tea saucers are already sold but there are still some available to purchase if you are thinking about a visit to Providence. You may also be able to purchase them directly from the shop.
I have decided to donate any funds from the sale of my pieces to Doctors without Borders for their work in Haiti. When I was a child my uncle used to live in Haiti and two of my sister's have done volunteer work there in the orphanages.
Thanks so much Pat for taking this beautiful photograph of Faythe beside my work.
I'm very glad Pat and Melissa could be your "eyes" at the show and let you enjoy the event. Thanks to both of them for these great photos. Pat's post is formidable ! She is a very talented reporter/journalist ... and one of your most devoted/faithful/reliable friend !
Congratulations, Margie, for your work. Can you see how proud the stones and tea saucers look to be there, beautifully displayed and so admired ?

Everything looked so perfect. I loved the simplicity of the displays. Luckily we got to purchase one of the rocks for my mom's birthday! I am happy to know that the proceeds will go to those in need.
