I am such a lucky mom to have already received a wonderful handmade valentine gift/book from my youngest daughter, Deborah. It was a project she made for her art course last semester and she gave me permission to share it with you here. Well actually I begged and pleaded and then she gave in. I just know you will all love it as much as I do and maybe with a little more gentle persuasion she might consider making a few extras to sell for art supplies like another brilliant young artist I know.
Somewhere hidden in these pages is an art history reference that was part of the assignment. Can you see it? I think if you click on the pictures you can view them larger.
This term Deborah is studying photography and I am sure you can imagine how excited I am at watching her progress in this media. Right now she is working on some awesome photo-grams.
So the talent runs in the family and to the next generation!Congratulations Deborah for so lovely paintings and for having such an inspiring and supportive mum and family!Ariadne from Greece!

The drawings are so neat and tidy! Is she like that in other ways? What a nice gift. My 6-year-old son made me a ceramic heart necklace. I was thinking of posting a photo of it on Valentine's Day!

This is beautiful! What a wonderful and special gift! She should continue this and illustrate other sweet songs.
I believe I spot the Mona Lisa as the bride in the third picture!

Oh, my, I love Deborah's illustrations! That song is one of my favorite ones off the Juno soundtrack.
