Is it a kamut (white goose) or tullik ( yellow beaked loon) or ugyuk ( bearded seal)???
No it is Kia which means "who" like in "who are you" because in the end I really couldn't decide. This tiny little stone creation has so much personality that it seems change completely depending on the perspective you adopt. Kia really blended in so quickly with the rest of the stone faced softie family. In some of the pictures you can even see her helping feed the little one.
One thing for sure is that she truly enjoys the company of others. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am soaking up the sunshine in doors and will be heading out soon for a long walk and then off to the big city for a my youngest daughter's first dance competition of the year.
what a lovely tribe...

I see the seal myself. Very sweet character. You are making a theatrical troop of sorts!

I'm smitten with Kia. But I definitely see a seal. Such a sweet face and very affectionate like a puppy. Lovely :)

What a fabulous new chapter of your wondeful Inuit tale you offer us this week-end, Margie !
I love Kia : your genius concept of hard softies, the addition of several stones that makes a very original, uncommon and very unique creature, her adorable expression and her loving attitude. Her affectionate look and caring nose make my heart melt as the sweet snow-woman :)
Hope your daughter's dance competition was a great success and wish all the family a nice Sunday !

I love what you do - never stop creating! I'm going to crochet rocks, too - I can't believe that anyone on this wonderful planet would object to this wonderfully harmless and beautifying art form! Your imagination is precious, and I'm honored to have been able to view it this way! Thank you, thank you!! Let no stone roll uncovered!!!

Soft colors with a spark of orange! Striking. Yes, that alphabet is lovely. I think any alphabet has the potential for beauty based on the typeface. My daughter has several typeface books that are fun to look through.
