Remember when I decided on a whim to drop my poetry stone into my tea cup with some tea remaining in the bottom because I wanted to give it that antique look , well I loved the result so much that I decided to dig into my much ignored tea cupboard for more inspiration.
I had already begun to crochet little coats for some of the tiny tea saucers I found in a bag at the salvation army shop. I will be making these into necklaces with a little liberty tana lawn. They were just staring at me begging for colorful dips in to auntie tea cups.
There are the little trio happily immersed in three different tea baths. Although the colors look quite similar in this photograph you will see later how very different they are. In the little bowl are some Meyer lemons, my newly discovered love and soon to become a finale for our Easter feast. Just looking at their yellow-orange skin cheers me up.
Let me introduce little miss rooibos red tea, miss pomegranate green tea and last but not least miss blueberry starfruit tea. These dainty little flowers actually smell as good as they look and sound.
This is my favorite little detail.
Have a fantastic and colorful start to your week.

Margie, such pretty colors... I need to give some other teas a try. I too LOVE Meyer Lemons! This past weekend I made some Meyer Lemon Pot-au-cremes,

also used the rest of the lemon juice for some wonderful lemonade.
Blessings...

I was going to say "totally amazing" but I see Nanou beat me to that one.
So, um...totally awesome! I adore the stone in its subtlety, and the others for their surprise.
