Back to the fiber art wearable shields after a long weekend of lake visits. This is number three and is self titled heart lines. It depicts two bears wearing medicine bundles and heart lines, things very important to aboriginal culture.
One last one to show you and then it will be group shots and a wearable photo-shoot. These will all be available for purchase in December from Gallery Hanahou, NYC.
these shields are a very interesting new direction for you - i like where you are progressing. i just recapped your last few posts after being away for a few days and it looks like you have been up to lots of fun. look forward also to see how the lichen dyeing turns out.

the three of them are breathtaking, Margie. You know yourself how heart lines are important.
I love the last photo, the out of focus one.
I'm sure they'll be a hit at the show. Can't wait to see them modelled :)

I love the shield as nest image. It really tugs at the heart and spirit for me. I'd love to see it worn!

I like this one a lot, Margie. Actually, I like them all! What a beautiful set you have created. Heart lines - the term brings up so many thoughts and emotions for me.
