These pictures were taken early yesterday morning and about an hour after sunrise all evidence had melted. It is actually a warmish weekend but I just wish the sun would shine a little more before grey november skies are upon us. In these pictures you may find a few absolutely perfect tiny snowflakes. Every time I spot a new one it makes me smile.
forest berries on ice :)
You make the first snow seem like not such a bad thing after all. Love the frost berries on ice.

Lovely! Does the first snow excite you, since you live in a place with long winters? We don't get much snow where we live, so it's always exciting for us.

That photo of the snowflake on the pebble is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the snow here in Switzerland as well, should only be a matter of days!

Oh, these make my heart hurt. I am currently living where there will be no snow this winter and I will miss it terribly. I will be back often to get my snow fix. Thanks.

I've been in a slump on what to watercolor next, but your site has inspired me. I just want to use every photo as an inspiration. Your pink and gold leaves are sending me right to my paints. Thank you for such a beautiful site.
