The pieces of colorfully dyed fabrics are inspiring creative thoughts and dreams. Tonight a little spark went off in my head and I used one of the pieces of berry and leaf dyed silks. I will show it to you tomorrow because for now I just wanted to share how those little bundles of fabric look all rinsed, dried and ready for what awaits them.
Arwen has her paw on her favorite.
Funny how my bench monday shot and word for the month is supposed to be focus.
I used chalkboard paint (two coats) on a large wooden slice to make a small tree cut blackboard for my desk.

Love the idea of putting blackboard paint on a slice of cut wood. I love blackboard paint used in unsual places. Very creative!!! :)

Looks like you have added to your desk, rather than cleared things away. I smile because this is so very familiar! Your fabrics are so pretty - colors and textures you could never buy in a store. You are going to have so much fun creating with these.
