I wanted to change up the chalkboard pegboard for the new year and I came across this native american saying," certain things catch you eye but pursue only those that capture your heart". It really spoke to me in ways that I am finding hard to put into words right now.
I am feeling very blessed to have my life (and my quiver) full of family and friends. Tomorrow is my blog birthday (#3) and I am celebrating that , surpassing 1000 posts and my etsy shop anniversary (#2) with a really wonderful giveaway.

great quote! I may adopt it as my "mantra" for the year as I find I end up getting distracted by so many things and don't accomplish nearly what I know I could!
Your blog is always an inspiration and has become one of my daily reads! Thank you!

I feel close to tears looking at this. The pieces are absolutely amazing. Amazing! And after our email the other day I hit on this idea of "pursuing what captures your heart" most profoundly. I'll tell you about it someday, this inspiration pushed into being by our exchange. xo

The quote also puts words on what I've tryed to do these past days in my studio about all my old WIPs, deciding which ones are worth to be continued and which ones I will give up.
Much love to you, Margie.
