i have all the resources: never ending inspiration, paints, paper, brushes, a lovely place to dabble ; so every once in a while when the feeling hits I get my paint brush moving. I did so late last night when i was staring at the mason jars in the kitchen filled with the remains of our natural dyeing party last weekend. But this post is not about that. It is about a little outburst of painting that happened a few weeks ago when the studio was warmed by sunlight , there were beautiful little piles of paper and fiber on the warm wooden floor and I had just received my beautifully packaged set of four season prints, the collaboration between jill and arounna.
Today i see that a blizzard is happening outside my studio windows and yet i still am felling quite warm writing this post. BTW my finger is much better already. There is a great advantage to having antibiotics in your kitchen cupboard.
enjoy your saturday
I think your painting is charming.
And oh, I'm sorry to hear about your finger. Bad kitty!

Your painting is beautiful!!
I think it has an Impressionist feel to it. And, artists known as the "Impressionists" did well didn't they?
Trust me, I'm certified to teach art!!! 8*)

I was so happy to receive your painting. I'll be putting it on my wall soon, but for now it is on my mantel. Margie, you can paint and draw! I used to think that I couldn't draw or paint, and with encouragement from my tutors, I discovered that when you find a way of having fun with drawing, you start to feel comfortable with your work. That's in my experience anyway. x x

you can certainly paint, and your card is the living proof !
anyway, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so even if some people don't find beauty in this, I DO.
So very happy to read this news about your finger, my friend xoxo

Your start in painting is exquisite and I loved your collaboration with Fern Junior a few days ago !
Happy to hear your finger feels better. Your hands have so many exciting crafts to do to allow themselves any break !
