i have about a thousand photographs to sort through from my amazing week with geninne in Queretaro, Mexico but the summary is that it was a very colourful, warm and happy holiday. I will be sharing my photos and experience over the next week or so but I wanted to show just a few tonight just before i tumble into bed.
that vermillion flycatcher with outspread wings summarizes the welcoming I received from geninne and her wonderful family. I miss you all already and tomorrow morning I am really going to be missing the fresh orange juice and mango.

welcome home !!!! oh me oh my, these photos exhale colors & warmth, just as you said, but no doubt much less than Geninne & her family themselves. I will patiently wait for more, but I wanted to wish you a not too exhausting first day back "home". Thinking about you. oxoxo

Welcome back! As much as I love snow and winter, seeing these vibrant, warm colours is like getting a happiness boost. I'm so glad you had a wonderful holiday.

The warmth radiates from each photo. I love all those well-used wooden spoons.

I managed to make it through Geninne's posts, now I am having to gather all my strength to make it through yours. It seems tougher to view such wonderful color when the days are grey and cold outside my window. Hearing that you went to San Miguel de Allende, just about did me in- I can only imagine the fun you two had. Glad to hear you had such a wonderful visit and have made it home safe. Carolina
