I love the spider! You do lovely work - I'm always visiting your blog and thinking "wow!" but figured it was about time to say so! :)
PS - very cute kitty, too

What a lovely and genius idea to embellish your shirt with that pretty spider !!! ... if you don't mind she crawls in your neck :)
I always love how you repurpose clothes and make them kind of haute couture !

I spy Geninne's pillow beneath that shirt ;)
What are you knitting, Margie? You always make me smile with your talent and photos. Love to you and yours from Alaska.

how much I love all these tones, my friend ... chambray blue & offwhite/beige ... these photos look so peaceful, including Edgar's ... what a cutie <3
I also love repurposing (as you already know) and have been cutting shamelessly into a top & trousers these last days. They will find a new life in lots of other projects & will be more loved than in their former lives.
The spider looks so good on the stripey blue, and the lace ... mm the lace ...

Looks like the spider is crawling out of hibernation. Sort of like us. Did you get the snow storm today? It has blanketed New England and upstate New York!

oooo.....you never cease to amaze me M! that is brilliant, but understated, I can imagine myself staring, wondering..is that a ..... spider??? Also love the pussy willow pic, i used to pick the blooms of those and then make them beds out of match boxes, like they were little pets. brings me back. lovely post!

what abeautiful spider! i'm slowly coming around to spiders. i think of you everytime i come across one in my bedroom or similar. i think 'don't be scared, what would margie do?' i'm not at all as scared of them as i used to be.

Who knew a spider can look so lovely, love those lacy details on the shirt. There is something about that worn piece of lace on the clothesline in the wind I can't quite put my finger on it but I like it, what a wonderful post of soft textures, thank you.

lovely post. i especially love the photo - a poem it itself - of the lace(?) blown by the breeze...

When you originally posted this I loved it, but since I keep thinking about that so-lovely spider, and had to come back and say how perfect it is :)
