I have been pretty well unplugged from the computer all weekend, busy with family, but it hasn't prevented me from taking some photographs. When I finally got around to downloading them tonight , I noticed that most of them feature the colour purple.
i even dipped a piece of magnolia petal dyed canvas into my almost year old container of lichen dye and it created two beautiful purple starbursts.

i love your array of purples. i am a bit obsessed with the colour lately too - keeping my eye out for lilacs in bloom everywhere. sounds like you had a relaxing weekend.

Stepping away from the computer for a while can do you lots of good, specially if you have tons to do offline as well. I hope spring has totally sprung by now & that you'll have a sunny and/or warm(er) week ahead !

Hi Margie,
My husby and I spent most of the weekend packing a 20 foot CONEX with the rest of our house hold items, but we did take time yesterday to go down to Potter's Marsh...There were all kinds of ducks basking and swimming, iridescent swallows, gulls, and eagles winging and a moose came munching by. Your wonderful friend, sunshine, has been here for the last 3 weeks. I asked her to come and visit you too. Hugs to you and yours!
