Sort of fell off the colour week postings with the prom on tuesday and graduation last evening. My husband and I celebrated the last of our four children graduating from high school, all ontario scholars and all wonderful. We did a little too much celebrating because before we knew it we had both slept through our normal early arise times.
It is good to know that there are other night birds out last night at bookhou.

seeing this night scene has made me want to make a canadian owl of some sort with my natural dyed fabrics and stitching. Perhaps just the sort of relaxing project I need for the weekend. Hoping to head to the water for at least a day trip.

That is so beautiful! You did a magnificen job with all of those bird decals. It looks just like the flocks that fly by here :) The shadows are wonderful, just like you planned it!
