one of my favorite things over the past week or so was sitting on the porch drinking soda with lemon and stitching with two of my best friends.
Sonia was doing some amazing art with her natural dyed silk threads.
Geninne was embellishing her tiny art pieces transfered to fabric and I was stitching up a barn owl using only naturally dyed fabrics.
It is such a treat being creative with others.
:)
plus that baby blue jay is darn adorable!

Your owl and Sonia's tiny squares are perfection. That afternoon we spent stitching on the porch was marvelous. I spent today finishing up my first square using the beading needle and seed beads you gave me and enjoying the memories of last week :) I miss you friend.

I love how natural dye colours always seem to compliment each other. Never a need to worry about them clashing, it's impossible. Such lovely pics, thanks for sharing :)

Not just three ladies sewing together but three very talented ladies. What a treat and your owl embroidery looks wonderful as does Sonia's art work.
