time moves too quickly to get big things completed
so
i find fingers working on a much smaller scale
maybe it will be a christmas
thumbelina and her woodland pals
would appreciate
this little maiking session started with a gift from my lovely sister Helen
the most lovely bouquet
of fragrant pine needles
i soaked a few overnight in water
and made the minutest of baskets
a tiny braided wreath
brooms to keep your nest tidy
and
...
(no photographs of those little things yet)
Oh Margie:) This has me smiling this morning!!!! FANTASTIC work! So imaginative!!!

Unbelievable how things we consider useless as they are abandant here under pine trees, you receive them as a gift, appreciate them and then reuse them to create crafts and great photos! That's the epitomy of why your blog has inspired me so much all these years!AriadnefromGreece!

wonderful! I've always wanted to try basket weaving. I even did have a try with pine needles but didn't manage to actually create anything. You have talented hands Margie!x

We always say 'it's in the small things' but it is rare to see a material representation of the sentiment!
