Arwen was keeping edgar company indoors while he recuperates from minor surgery on his hind leg. So the porch kitties were lord byron and king dolan. I am imagining the snow that will cover the garden sometime soon and with this thought I am going to snuggle up, watch a movie, write out some of my christmas cards and knit.
Have yourselves a good end to november.
Ah you're getting me in the holiday mood. Poor little Edgar. Hope he makes a quick recovery!

Very pretty decorations. I think I might have just figured out that Oomen is a Dutch name. :)
Your cat's sweet face is perfectly framed by the clogs.

Christmas cards! You are organised Margie! The porch looks lovely. I was wondering, is there quite so much activity on the other porches in your street? : )I got in the festive mood and made a wreath at the weekend.

Get well soon Edgar. I love your St Nicholas celebrations and all your decorations. Can you sneak in a little pair of clogs for me?

You've inspired me to get decorating - and that little kitty face peeking out from behind the wooden shoes and wee tree looks a fair bit like my Pasha kitty - though I couldn't really see, is h/she a Maine Coon? You've also reminded me that I once had a lovely pair of wooden shoes that I wore as a kid around the house sometimes. Very slippery, but fun!

how inspirational! it reminds me of traditional christmases. i think my kids would love it, sitting outside, sipping hot chocolate!

I just love the way you have your porch decorated - so lovely & charming! You've given me so many ideas for sprucing up our sad looking front porch.
From reading some of your other posts, I think you might live in Toronto? My late husband and I lived there many many years ago, and the city and it's inhabitants still hold a dear place in my heart which is filled with many wonderful and bittersweet memories of those years.
Blessings and Merry Christmas,
GG
