When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. And now when every new baby is born its first laugh becomes a fairy. So there ought to be one fairy for every boy or girl.
J M Barrie, Peter Pan
Soft moss a downy pillow makes, and green leaves spread a tent,Where Faerie fold may rest and sleep until their night is spent. The bluebird sings a lullaby, the firefly gives a light,The twinkling stars are candles bright, Sleep, Faeries all, Good Night.
Elizabeth T. Dillingham, "A Faery Song"
Well, this is a lovely fairy indeed !
Enjoy !

Such an enchanting post ! Sprite Lilith looks to enjoy so much her cozy mossy pillow ! I guess she has a fantastic show from there : dancing leaves, running squirrels, acorns, singsong birdies ...
I'm a big admirer of her adorable matching sweater !!!
Wish your week will be filled with magic as well !

No matter how hard I search, I can't find one of these woodland sprites in my garden! Just look how she's growing and thriving - and so blessed to have such a wonderful Mommy and Oma to knit her beautiful sweaters. God Bless!!

I am loving todays post. She is PERFECT. The last photo is so dreamy. A true Wood Sprite. I love both of the quotes used today also. Ahhh I am getting weepy. Oh yes and the bit of moss made the perfect adornment for her lovely hat. Hugs,,,
