What lovely colored thread - amazing you dyed it yourself! It looks so good with the natural colored linen. I do enjoy your blog with all the natural things in life!

I'm with Sonia there - also want to grab a needle. The linen and the indigo look so quiet and serene together ...

Very beautiful. I was wondering about your indigo exhibition recently...probably one of those night when I wasn't sleeping and was thinking of everything under the sun. Is it still happening? Or maybe did already?

The fern motif really inspires me.
I'm wondering what kind of thread it is. And your needle seems longer than usual. Is it Japanese? Must dig for some linen.
Your love of the process seems to come through in your stitches...may-be it's your photography.

hi judy, it is vintage cotton thread. Unfortunately that is all I can say about it. The needle is just a regular embroidery needle, nothing special about it.

That thread is so pretty, so are your stitches. Yes those patterns look familiar, lovely! Will this piece be made into something?
