i wanted to make a soft fabric ball for lili to play with
with a little jingle deeply buried inside the eco stuffing
i used indigo dyed fabric in two shades of blue
natural linen
and
bookhou triangle print
lili doesn't mind that it isn't exactly spherical
or that oma is not that skilled at sewing

Everything in this post is wonderful
from the ball, to the prints & fabrics used
to the little girl who can play with it now,
and to his amazing grandma who is more skilled than she thinks she is.

Lili already knows her Oma is brilliant.
Love the combination of those fabrics. We like wonky, if we didn't we wouldn't enjoy handmade as much would we. At least that's what I tell myself :)

of course she doesn't notice any 'flaws' you might think it has - it is made by oma and she loves it because of that. and because it looks pretty cool, if you ask me.
