perhaps it was the bringing together
of four generations
for a most delicious family feast
but this christmas
more than ever
i realize that the most important things
in life
are family and friends
and the love they share
for one another
even though i missed terribly my sisters and brother, nieces and nephews and their little ones
i was comforted by the knowledge that my sister, Helen brought them all together in Ottawa
for a family feast, Alice would have been very proud of
so before i shed tears all over my computer
I will change those tears to joy and share only a few images of
christmas in the land of resurrection fern.
