before I start posting about what we are making lili for her first birthday in a few weeks
i thought i should show a few little things I made for christmas gifts
knitting mittens for lili is loads of fun
using up bits and metres of left over yarn
teasing the kittens
:)
I also designed and made her a little hobbit cape of her own
repurposing an vintage woolen plaid kilt and a cashmere sweater
arounna was so kind to help me with the snaps and studs
the closure was repurposed from the skirt

the mittens were knit with handspun cashmere
using this lovely pattern
