What colours! The bubblegum pink and lime green are especially fetching.

It always warms my heart to discover another soul who finds enchantment is the tiny details of nature and seeing these images it is clear, you are enchanted. Thank you for these close views! Our lichen generally hides safely in the tops of trees and only visits earth after a wind storm!!!

Geninne

Those specks of color just brightened my morning, thank you! :-)

Cozy Memories

like miniature works of art, i wonder how many species of lichen there are in the area you are? i recently learned that on our beach, there are over 80 types of seaweed! incredible!

When I was a child lichens made me awe for their art and craft way.. beautiful colors, shapes, textures. Then I went to the university to get my bacharel on biological sciences and found out how much science those lichens have. Science and art working together, couldn't be better :)
