these images were all taken this morning
since that time the amount of snow has doubled
and it is still coming down
lili and i are staying cozy and warm inside this afternoon
tomorrow morning it will be great fun digging out
wish I could invite you all to pick up a shovel
and then enjoy a warm cup of mexican hot chocolate
of the porch with us
or a snow picnic in the backyard
that is if we can even find the picnic table by tomorrow
:)

Wow! I didn't know that it snows on your porch too! These are scenes that I just don't see here in the bay area of CA. So pretty.

Wow! You have already gotten quite a bit of snow. It's starting to pick up here in Boston now. I'm taking snow pictures every few hours.

It looks so soft and fluffy! I wish I could go and help you dig out. In fact, I'd love to be there now and enjoy staying in a cozy place and watching it fall. Sounds magical! Have a wonderful weekend! Stay warm.

Happy to hear you so optimistic and positive about the snow. I can't say I share your feelings though... I am SO ready for spring!
But your pictures are lovely and I will try to invoke your enthusiasm about our ever-persistent Canadian winters ; )

I'd be happy snow dancing too! That is a lot of snow! (I really need to move north.)
Just catching up here Margie ... I missed Lili's birthday post ... what a poppet she is!

Balloons! Birthday leftovers can be used to make ice lights that look simply magical on a snowy porch. Did you ever try?

You got more snow than us this time. Isn't that lovely for you. That front porch of yours looks ready for a snow princess tea party.
