Looks like a wonderful book and the message is important. The natural world is in our backyards and neighbourhoods. So close and so worth the engagement! :)

I think a lot of people in Kuwait should read this book. They recently refurbished the walking path near our house. It used to have grass. Now it has artificial grass, fake trees with fairy lights and a track that is multicolored. Whenever I look at it, I am just disgusted. Visual pollution is what it is. I much prefer nature in its natural state, not something trying to mimic it. Very, very sad. I do hope it is a novelty and not the way this society is headed in the future. Your kids and grandkids are so lucky to have you guiding them as it is very apparent that you have always keen sense of the world and an appreciation for all that surrounds you. Best wishes, Tammy
