wow mom. this one is definitely my favourite. also i can't believe how fast you did it, when we started discussing it just yesterday. my favourite fabric is the one with the bird like the one in your banner. oh, and please stick to scissors. your fingers are too valuable.

sid

i think you should stick to scissors, nice creation.

Cripes! Blasted rotary cutter! I think it takes awhile to get used to it. I am super careful using mine and I have used one for years. The bag is fabulous and the fern embroidery turned out wonderful.

Gorgeous bag . The trees , birds , colors , buttons are singing spring . You always had a unique way of cutting with scissors witch would not work with a rotary cutter . Heal speedily and well .

Sonya

I love the colors and patterns, but especially how beautiful your embroidered fern looks framed by that doily.

Oh Margie!
I am so sorry about the rotary cutter accident :o
I have never used one before and now I can say that I won't ever do it. I hope that you fingers recover soon!

The bag is BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love the combination of fabrics, colors, the sweet embroidery, the buttons... GREAT JOB!!!!!
This bag really has the spirit of Spring!
Take care and I am looking forward to your new creations!

I just had to swing by from Australia when I saw your surmame on a comment at Elsa Mora's. It gave me quite a start. You see my maiden name is "Oomens" and my mother's married name is "Margaret Oomens" !!!!!

Absolutely incredible.

And because we may be related!! but also because your work and blog are so lovely I will be back as a regular visitor.
