I LOVE it!!! What a clever idea, on both counts! We enjoy seeing what ends up in the birds' nests too. Think I'll put some yarn out for them asap so they can use it. I think a square/rectangle frame is a good idea because you could prop it up easier than the round. Whatever you decide, it is gorgeous work anyway.

Beautiful , beautiful , beautiful ! What lucky birds . Happy Easter to all of you . Love Helen , Katie and Barry .

Margie, what a great idea to give the birds some colorful materials for their homes, if they could write you would be getting lots of thank you cards from them.
The little bird is an artwork, so creative and beautiful. There is a lot that you can do with that technique, I always enjoy your ideas, so fresh and unique :)

This is a fabulous and sweet project!

This is beautiful, Im going to have to try it!

I've been putting dryer lint out for the local birds, but I think I may start putting scraps out, too. Though, it does occur to me that this might make them more vulnerable to predators. Do you know anything about how local predators see color?
