Wonderful post! I totally agree with your discussion of knitting's added concentration----it's as if knitting quiets the mind enough to process outside information...

Those are beautiful sweaters! I cannot believe they were worn by four children and look so perfect even still. I especially like how the blue one has the button on the side.

My very first project was a sweater but it was one color. It did have patterning and such and I still am a bit amazed I would have chosen to knit such a thing after only learning to knit the week before! Ignorance is bliss, I guess...


A well-written post. Agree with you. You can learn more on how to cure attention deficit disorder at www.attention-deficit-disorder.net. It may take quite some time to cure, but it's definitely a good try.


When it comes to knitting you are a natural. These sweaters are all so great and sophisticated. I haven't made my first sweater yet because I still need to learn how to knit. I just got some DVD with a teacher that explains you how to do it. Now I just need the time to watch it!
