Thanks for the photo of the vintage book purse. I bet it inspires comments and conversation when you use it - which is my idea of art inspiring community.

Thank you for the effort you take to make your blog. I love the pictures and appreciate that you see things in a different way-you see beauty in all things. Thanks for inspiration and a comfort spot to come to.

Neat book purse! I had had an idea of making something very similar, but had never gotten around to it. It's neat to see that someone else had the same idea, and actually took it somewhere! The cover on yours is very nice.

You take such lovely photos of snails. :)

Why spend money when you are every bit as creative as those artists! Your little snail is perfect.

And middle age IS a work of art!

Wow - I love your blog! I found you after I saw your stones on Cuteable (was it on Cuteable? I can't remember!) and I've been covering stones in crochet ever since! Actually, I started thinking "What else can I cover in crochet?" which has prompted my friends to ask me if I don't want to join Joana Vasconcelos, who is a portuguese artist whose pieces include a grand piano covered in crochet (among other equally strange pieces!)
Sorry to babble on! I also love your snail embroidery. I'm wondering if I have some fabric that could lend itself well to an embroidered snail. I used to love snails when I was younger. But now that I have to take care of my parents' orchard, snails aren't all that welcome...
And I love Edgar! One day I'll get a cat, but for now I am ok to just have my big black smelly dog, Jack.

Sorry for the long comment!

Your Edgar makes me soo happy! Love all the colors in this post! thank you!!

Margie, I love all the art treasures! And the sign is just perfect! It really makes me think. These words are now in my brain forever. Thank you for introducing them to me!!!
Elsita :)
