Margaret, thankyou for the biology/nature lesson, how beautiful are the volvox! I didn't learn about them in biology 101. We have HUGE pine cones here in Virginia and I thought you would love to receive one but I wonder how customs would feel about that...also, yours is the very first blog I have commented on and so I don't know how to send you my address in a less public forum than this comments area. It is very generous of you to offer the print but it's not necessary so don't worry about responding to this if you are busy.
Love the little pinecone necklace!
Lynn :-))))
P.S. do you know Christine Millman? (our family physician in rurual Eastern Ontario)

Décidément j'adore cette valise-miracle et l'ambiance qu'il y a toujours sur cette terrasse...

Very cute pine-cone-tour-de-cou

I really love the cone necklace! It's wonderful that you can just see something in nature and reproduce it so beautifully!

It looks like you had a perfect day at the beach! Your daughter's painting is beautiful.... she's an artist, like her mother, obviously! I love how you bring your creating into nature, and then how you oppositely invite nature into your creating. It is beautiful.

Good Morning, I was just in my garden, harvesting some lavendar and thought immediately about what you might do with it.... I crocheted a liitle cover for it making a version of a Victorian Lavendar Wand. I am not very good with the computer or I would send you a picture but I will send you the wand if you like, just let me know where. It may be nice inside that pretty little suitcase! Thank you for all your inspiration, information and daily intrigue.

Elsita :)

Margie, I love the painting inspired by the pinecone! Congratulations for the artist!!!!!! And again, every time I see your porch I just need you to pack it and send it to me in LA!
I will be waiting for it!!!
Elsita :)
