This is a very cute bird and
nest! And what a cute egg!
It is also a post of a very
honorable cause, we should all
be greatful! I in the U.S.
second your cry!! Thank you,
Thank you, a million times
over I thank you! To all those
I who have gone bravely so
that I and my family can be
free I thank you!
Rane and family~

what a beautiful sentiment, it's nearly 11am where I am and we will be observing a 2 minute silence, I will think about your beautiful nest and how lucky I am to live a free and creative life like yourself.
Much love on this special day

What a lovely tribute!

There must be something in the air today, because I just posted a felt (not felted) bird of my own this morning... I love your simple red creation; very often less is so, so much more, and you have a very beautiful way of sharing that with so many of us.

You have a way of touching me gently and waking me up. I've been up for several nights in a row with a sick child and had lost site of this significant day. Even the ability to worry over a fever in the safety of my nest shouldn't be taken for granted. As a mama bird and fellow nester, I love the simple beauty and perfect symbolism you created for your beautiful post.

a very sweet post--a lovely, lovely tribute.

That's lovely. Red birds have a special place in my heart. The Cardinal was my Grandmother's favorite.
