What beautiful photos! I like the ones with the crocheted stones, they look like lotus. Yes I see your brown pants and shoes in the 5th picture. Thank you for posting such true delights!

Great shots ! Your giant magnolias are snails wonderland ... I love your magnolia stones ! Very poetic ... (I also found your lower limbs ont the 5th photo, but I didn't notice them before you asked the question !)

Oooh Margie, how can my heart not be touched when you mention the town I'm going to move to in a bit more than a month from now !! I read about him & magnolia just a few weeks ago, when my hubby was reading a book about the history of our region ! Montpellier is such a neat place for scientists, doctors & students !
And gosh, your photos today are such a delight (well, anyway they always are, why am I surprised then ?) Your covered stones in the center of the magnolia + the light makes the most perfect & delicate photos ! Gorgeous. No other word.
Thanks so much for sharing this today, Margie, I enjoyed it more particularly. xoxo Lots of love

i love these images- the big magnolia petals with the crocheted stones inside are so stunning! another nature/margie collaboration. :)

I think it's the quality of light that makes for such beautiful images--and your talents, too, of course--but something about those pink blossoms at that time of day seems magical. I love the stones and blossoms together.

so beautiful! i love magnolias! and of corse i love your baby snail!!!

G'day Margie
I'm new to your blog & must say I'm so very impressed & wonderfully inspired...your photos are a delight to the visual senses. I adore your crochet covered rocks & the ones in the magnolias just match so well - but then you have such a good eye for such details - me t'inks... Yes I see your white socks, red shoes & lovely brown trousers - I think it is good to sometimes add yourself to the picture... thanks for lifting my spirits today... I'll be back you can count on that... OOroo... Bethel of Bethania

Margie, seeing your photos at the end of a hard day are like a spring rain - they wash away so much grit and leave me feeling so refreshed and renewed. I am absolutely in love with magnolias in any season (particularly crazy about their seed pods and their lovely leather-looking leaves in the fall) Your photos of the lovely flowers are really sublime. Thank you so much. chris

i'm so happy that i got to see the tree in bloom this year :)
