Oh, yum! I'll have to try fiddleheads some time. Everything looks so lush and green, and I love the trilliums growing in that natural stump "planter."

Your raccoon encounter reminded me that I saw a coyote run across the street as I was driving today, right in our neighborhood. A very unusual sighting.

What a great capture of mommy raccoon. I will need to try some fiddleheads sometime too. And Margie, your photographs of your latest organized collections are aMAzing.

What a great walk you had! And that book looks really interesting, I'd like to see some pages :)

I love that pose of the mama raccoon... and that you captured her in it is amazing! The last photo is one of my favorites of your nature collections... ever!

I love this post! The ferns (my favorite plant, and how I first found you); the greens (my favorite color); the vignette of fiddleheads and mosaic and china. And that book! I am so jealous. What a find. You can keep the raccoon, though. We have plenty here.

Thanks so much Margie for sharing with us your walk into the forest. All that moss & lichen & ferns just make my heart beat faster. :) xoxo
