These remind me a lot of traditional English well dressings, where flowers, moss, petals and other organic matter are used to make pretty pictures to display near wells and water sources - a pagan throwback to water nymph offerings.

oh, they're beautiful. i've not thought about making 'flower art' for a long time- not since i was little and would make those little sand gardens in a box.
love the liberty fish too- so sweet!

Beautiful! Is there a way to preserve these lovely creations?
I've pressed flowers but find that they lose their color over time. Not bad, but I would like to save them in other ways. Any tips?

Pure visual poetry ...
These colours are to die for. They remind me of my best friend's ceramics.
