it's pretty cold here but it was a lovely weekend nevertheless. :) i love your buckets- the yellow lining really makes them!

Geninne

Gorgeous buckets Margie. I haven't sewn in such a long, long time...you're inspiring me to bust out the trusty sewing machine and make something. I love that you are always surrounding yourself with natural beauty :)

Jennifer

I love how you made that felt work for you! These are the happiest buckets... they also feel like a lovely collaborative effort... that I'm so happy to be a part of.

They look lovely with the abundance fo flowers! Those little yellow flowers are quite soemthing, I kept thinking it was some silk flowers taken apart! (but surely you would never need such things!)

Jen

Wow, it must have felt like an old-fashioned bee - I love that you were sewing with one friend's burlap sack, and the fabric Genine designed for you, and Maya's pattern... like having everyone around the table with you! And the results are terrific.

You've inspired me! We have a place here where I get free coffee sacks (they make great liners for wire baskets and such in the garden). Time to get sewing, I guess!

Maybe I'll make a burlap snail...

I am loving all the posts you have here (I am new)...and this one especially. I love seeing that same bench repeated in so many pictures throughout your site...so beautiful.
