It might seem almost a tradition that I end my week with forest walks, gathering expeditions of flowers, colorful leaves, fungi and on this occasion acorns and a view of the ever changing porch. I have come to think of my porch as a canvas and a natural science museum. I am looking forward to getting a great deal of rest this weekend, spending time with family and of course being creative. What are your going to be gathering this weekend?
Well, I don't know yet what I/we'll be gathering this weekend. Perhaps, simply gathering cozy family moments, as hubby was away for the last three days.
Much love to you for this weekend, my friend. Your photos are always such a delight. Can't you make a calendar with all of them ?

Going to the Sierras to gather perfectly round, flat slate "coins" from the Downie river, plus apples, last blackberries, maybe some walnuts and clear starlight away from the city!

Epoustouflant ! The perfect end for a very busy September week, isn't ?
Don't know yet what we'll gather ...
Wish a beautiful and relaxing week-end, Margie.

Your images are atmospheric. I'm hoping to finally get a chance to visit one of our new local pubs to gather some pints. If I do, I'll drink to you my friend.
