It's always jarring when you have an accident on something you've just about completed. Your save is gorgeous and ingenious. I think a whole line of cozy stones would be beautiful for the winter.

What a beautiful "re-cover-y" (I didn't mean to make that pun -- it just happened! Maybe you could call them that?) The lace and the felt together remind me of a geode, where you crack open the stone and discover beautiful layers of crystal inside. Please explore this more!!

My weekend did glow. I took pictures almost identical to your first few of leaves on the ground. I love how the leaves of one tree can be so many different colors!
