a photographic tribute to lichen, rain and the last days of November
The week is just about wrapped up , as is the month. I promise more colorful things in the next few posts. I also hope to get that list of last minute handmade gift tutorials up for you before the month is over.

I don't mind, I love theses muted tones !
Lichen is one of my favourite things in nature.
Right in front on me, on my desk, is an old dried branch covered I lichen I picked in the wood next to my parents' house :)
I love colors, but sometimes, it's nice and useful to have a break and these faded (délavé) tones, especially at this period of the year, are very peaceful. They relax me !
Can't wait to see your tutorials ... but wonder how you find time to make them while you're alreaddy so busy with all your exciting projects ! I am so admirative of your time management :)
Wish you a nice Friday ... and restorative appointement with the forest soon !
These are beautiful images of the season. I pick up fallen branches and twigs with lichen all the time, I love their colours! I find them such beautiful natural decoration.
I love lichens, you know that well, and I've learnt along the years to enjoy all the muted tones as much (if not even more) as the bright colors. We do need all the colors of the earth, and not that many are extra bright.
Thank you so much for all your lovely photos, my friend. Do take care. Thanks again for your very kind words yesterday & support. Love you xoxoxo
I love lichen too. My friends kind of tease me about it, but I don't mind! It comes in the most incredible shapes, colors, and textures and you do a great job of capturing them. I especially liked the second to last picture of yours. :)

Beautiful photos! We're having similarly misty, overcast weather.
Can't wait to see the new tutorials. You constantly inspire me!
