Today was a snow day in every way except that we still had to find our way to work and to school as transportation was running ( but a little slower than usual). It has been a long day but I still wanted to share a few pictures with you.
First snow storm, first snow man, first ice wreath of the season and the day ended with delicious left over soup from the party. It is sweet potatoe soup with chipotle decorated with a swizzle of sour cream and a sprinkle of lime zest and served with melted raclette on toasted whole wheat baguette.
Wonderful winter post Margie! Everything is a picture with a sprinkling of snow. Have a beautiful day :)

The soup wetted my appetite and so did the snow.Yesterday it seemed like winter at last came here too.It was windy and cold and it ended up into an endless downpour of rain!Ariadne from Greece!
