in flight, originally uploaded by knitalatte11.
we'll look through the trees at the cliff, and the eyrie,
We'll tread round the rath on the track of the fairy,
We'll look on the stars, and we'll list to the river,
Till you ask of your darling what gift you can give her.
Oh! she'll whisper you, "Love as unchangeably beaming,
And trust, when in secret , most tunefully streaming,
Till the starlight of heaven above us shall quiver,
As our souls flow in one down eternity's river."

we will all miss you mom
Oh goodness, I'm so very sorry to hear you've lost your mum. That poem brought tears to my eyes before I had even read your last line. What a beautiful farewell. I know that mere words can never come close to the depth of emotion we feel in these situations but I just wanted to extend my very deepest condolences to you and all your family and tell you thoughts of peace are with you from the other side of the world.

Margie, I'm with you in spirit. What a beautiful poem to mark this event. Even though it's such a lovely poem it's made me shed tears too. I'm sure your loving family will be strong and nurturing for each other through this sad time.
We're sending you oodles of cuddles from across the pond. Lots of love to you and your family.

Oh Margie, I guess it's an infinite and so painful void/gap (vide/manque) for you. And for all your family, as your mom was a very special mom and a very special grandmother.
It won't help you, but I think of you all the time (at home, cooking, cleaning or hanging up the washing, on the way to school or at the supermarket ...). I wish all our thoughts and love all over the world could bring you some comfort, but I'm not sure any comfort or any soothing (apaisant) words exist ...
We have sun today and I look at the sky ...
Much much love to you, dear friend.
