I have some of the rock fetishes with the bundles on top, and they have so much spirit in their carved little forms. I love the way you have translated their shapes into cloth.

It is so beautiful to make sense of your work through embroidery. It is a way to bring intention to the work of healing. I'm not sure about the health care system in Canada - but I know that here in the U.S. we are often sorely lacking a sense of human intention and connection.

How could I have missed these sweet bears? Lovve it! They are magical.
One of my daughters is nicknamed "little bear" because she used to growl like a baby cub when she was a little toddler.
