Lovely World

Happy St. Patty's to you too! I have such a fond place in my heart for Ireland. I spent a month there observing and working with midwives when I was training to become a midwife myself. Such warm, welcoming people.
PS. Your thimble collection is superb!

Hello Margaret!

I love your 'ode to thimbles' post! I just had a rare 'girls night out' with one of my friends last night and we went to go see Alice Wonderland. There were a million beautiful, thoughtful details in that movie (thoughtful details are one of the reasons I've always loved Tim Burton) and the Mad Hatter had thimbles bandaged to his fingers so that he was ready to stitch at a moments notice... :)

That's really sweet. I love your thimble collection!!

The greenery in the thimbles is delightful. I love how you really notice how perfectly formed those bits of moss are when they're given a chance to shine.
