Oh Margie, that path (on the first photo) ! that beautiful green path in your inviting forest ! I adore it !
I'm sure the turtle is dreaming of a life on your porch ... she would play hide and seek with Fern ... she would borrow a lovely doily/scarf from the kitties ... she would sleep in your crochet trunk ... In return, she would be pleased to help you on your busy Wednesdays at work ... Good luck for today, Margie !

What a beautiful newt! A very lovely walk you had with so much to see. I'm off now to read your other new posts :)

Abby Emerson

A little crochet coat on that turtle would be adorable!

I love this walk - I can smell the forest floor and the loamy soil. The salamander is beautiful. Magical!

Thank you!

Jessie Hansen

I knew it was a newt! You are so lucky to be able to have such a nice place to walk on your lunch breaks. Yesterday was Nature Photography day. I'm sure you celebrated. We photographed the dirt in our backyard...

I love the little newt! so cute. I've never seen anything like that here, don't think we have them. We do have some salamanders but they are not bright like that. I'm a little jealous!

Carmen

Thank you for the photos. What special good luck and good spotting to capture the little red newt.
