In the 8th picture down, the old bloom/seedpod looks like a little fairy creature! Love how the serendipitous shows up! Lovely summer photos as always!

I follow you 200% about the process being more enjoyable than the finished piece. I'm often (almost) disappointed when a project of mine is over & that I must let it go.
I would have loved to stay with you on your crazy quilt, on the soccer pitch, we'd have observed nature together & crafted side by side. And surrounded by other friends of ours :) xoxox
