Still in the aqua phase, I have been working on some arrangements for some new prints for the shop. All I need to do is print a few testers and then into the shop they will go later in the week. I might be printing a few larger sizes for my own home, I love them so.
A few more close up views of the embroidered detail in the aqua missing pieces stone taken before I wrapped it up and delivered it to Abigail's auntie.
If you love summer and hope that it will last forever please excuse this last picture taken on my afternoon walk in the forest.
Happy holiday monday for some of us!!!
The prints are lovely! The Liberty you used and the aquas are perfect, so pretty. We have a lot of leaves turning already too, the chestnuts go first, their leaves are nearly ready to drop.

I love summer. On my mountain, I too have seen a hint here and there of what is to come. Come springtime I am absolutely ready to get rid of winter so I don't understand why I get sooo giddy and delighted at the site of the first autumn leaves that I spy.

Just beautiful work. I like how you combine the fabric with the crochet work.

Oh yes - I have seen some bright red maple leaves on a certain portion of the trail I take my daily hike on. I have tried to ignore them, but now that it is August it somehow seems okay!

... heart pangs for this east-coast-girl-transplanted-to-los-angeles at the first hints of fall's foliage. is there any season more beautiful? i dare say no... i'm starting to crave hot apple cider and fresh baked donuts! thanks for the happy post! your pix are wonderful!
