Driftwood has always held a great attraction for me. It is beautiful no matter how large or small it is. It is gorgeous at the microscopic level. It is thought provoking, making me always wonder where the point of origin was, how long it's journey has been, and by which route it arrived in it's present location.
Enjoy your day!!

Love the pictures...if only drift wood could speak...the stories it would tell.
Have a great day.

The microscopic photo of driftwood looks just like your pretty crochet! How cool is that? I love the softness of it.

Love your images; The smoothness of some driftwood is beauty in simplicity itself; the texture on other wood is complexity without bounds. Great post!

We just came back from a magical holiday in cornwall and devon in england. We went to see the eden project which was amazingly inspirational but also there was sculpture there from a very talented artist who make them from driftwood. Her web site is http://www.heatherjansch.com/. Take a look it is such beautiful work.
I really enjoy your blog thank-you for your constant inspiration.
