First off I need to thank Deborah and Kevin for doing such a great job of painting the room for me. I wanted it brighter because the natural light is only late afternoon sun. We used "crisp linen" as the paint color. I think it really makes the wood trim and floor appear warmer. So far the only things I had to buy for the studio are the two lamps. I purchased them on two separate occasions from Goodwill for under 10 dollars a piece.
The desk, ironing board and danish teak credenza were all curbside finds.
Today I actually got to see it in daylight for the first time and it was good.

There are so many of my favorite things on my desk right now. I wonder if any of you see anything you recognize? I have also laid a few things out that I want to put on the wall but haven't decided where or how yet. I have had those vintage board games for decades. The native north american men pictures were from the rummage sale today. I think they were part of a wood burning kit. I have the task now of moving materials and books into this space and working on a larger inspiration board and a few surprises. Expect some more pictures very soon.
First snow this morning. A very light dusting but I just wanted to share my favorite picture of the day.
Star of wonder!!!!
