I even have a sweet little model for one of the silk pieces I dyed. She is wearing it what we refer to in our house as the montreal style of wearing a scarf.
Amazing mathematical cauliflower!!!!!
Have a great weekend.

Just popped over from flickr. Absolutely stunning results. Thank you a huge heap for sharing this :o)
I have a giveaway on my blog if you are interested ;o)
You are having way too much fun with this stuff as of late. I have my fabric from the dying workshop I did a couple weeks ago-I'll have to take some photos.
Your dyed fabrics are a fantastic explosion of colors ! Can't wait to see how you use them ... though they're just beautiful themselves, you could frame them !
Wish you and the family, kitties included, a great week-end !
P.S. Didn't Fern ask you any fashion scarf ?
These are so beautiful, eye popping color for natural.
I just love all your photos on the chippy red table and the way you compose things (especially the first one).
Happy Halloween!!

I love that purple. And such a sophisticated kitty. Wonder if I can get my kitty to wear a scarf? Hmm.

They are all so lovely. I'm glad you told us it was cauliflower; I was going to ask you what that plant was. :)

unwrapping is the best part. will the cloth retain the color after being washed?

i love this palette...that's one of the best things about natural dyes, they always "go together"...no clashing--nature is so rad!

Yay! The unwrap is fantastic. You must have the best dressed kitties in all of Canada.

I LOVE the 4th from the top. These are so beautiful.
Do you know about the book Wild Color, by Jenny Dean? It's just been reissued. I think I need to get a copy now after seeing your gorgeous work!

These are absolutely stunning. That aqua, I am floored by the intensity. The bundles are a work of art in and of themselves, but unwrapped - wow!

They look really beautiful and I can see why the purple and blue are your favourite - such intense colours!
My friend and I call that style 'posh scarf' : )
