A sneak peak at something I have been working on. I have been making fabric pine cones for the past two years but I am trying to refine them and at the same time make then smaller. This little peak is the progress thus far. I have made a few liberty tana lawn and natural linen fir cones that are just over three centimeters in length.
more to come
These are GORGEOUS !!! What a brilliant idea to add Liberty, it's so lovely, you are a genius ! You're making dream the whole forest, firs and squirrels ... And each Christmas tree would love to wear them on their arms !
Can't wait to see your "more to come" and wish you a great Saturday ! Your week-ends would deserve extra-hours, I mean more than 24 :)

I love the way these crowns remind me of Native American head dresses !
And Edgar ! his crown is perfect, and he's the prettiest Wild Thing I've ever seen !

These are too pretty. I bet the chipmunks, squirrels and raccoons are all quarreling over them. You'd better make more or you'll cause a riot in the woods.
Can I plant the seeds from one? I would love a Liberty fir tree in our garden :)

You have caught the bug as well! What is it about making cones that is so delightful? I love peeking in at the colors.

Oh. They're just gorgeous. I love the little sneak peeks of tana lawn inside. There's something in the air: I made a pinecone this week. Mine was rather tiny though.
